1 - How to recover a password for Localo from the Chrome web browser.


If you used auto-fill or the "remember my password" feature for Localo account in your web browser - you will be able to check it and use it in the new login design introduced by us for Localo

1.1 - Open Chrome and go to Settings

1.2 - Go to auto-fill and passwords

1.3- Scroll down to find Localo favicon and click on the eye icon

Chrome will ask you to type the password that is used for your Google account - and your password will become visible ready to copy and paste into a new place.

Please note: Depending on the operation system and version of your browser there might be some changes to the general view of settings.

But usually, the access sequence will be the same ( or very similar) and will follow those steps:

Open Chrome and go to Settings > Advanced > Passwords and forms > Manage passwords. In the 'Saved Passwords' list, you can click on the symbol next to your password and select 'Details'. In the following pop-up you will be able to view the password for that site or login

In case you will have difficulties locating the right section please use the search setting option available at the top of the setting section and type "password"


2 - How to recover a password for Localo from the Safari web browser.


Depending on the version of software you are using, they might be some differences.
The guide below is done for macOS Monterey 12.3

But the general idea and steps all should be the same.

2.1 - Click the Apple siagn and go to System Preferences

2.2 Go to passwords

2.3 Find your Localo login ( it might be marked as Auth0) then put your cursor over the password to see it.

2.4 To see the password on the mobile device

To get started go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Website & App Passwords. After that, you will be asked for your password authentication. You can use Touch ID, Face ID, or your passcode to verify it's you want to access. After authentication, you will see a list of the saved account info

2.5 General concept for a different version of safari and Mac Operation system

  1. Open Safari.

  2. From the Safari menu, choose Preferences, then click Passwords.

  3. Sign in with Touch ID, or enter your user account password. ...

  4. Select a website, then click Edit.


3 - How to recover the password using the "recover password" feature in Localo


Once you will enter your password and sent a request, you will receive a link to reset your password.
